Sprinklers and Caring for your Lawn

Watering your lawn is very important.  Your lawn is a living thing and should be treated as such. Would you give your child something to drink every day? Would you give it too much when it had enough? Would you aim for your child’s mouth?  The same holds true for your lawn. Do you know watering your lawn at the wrong time of day or for too long and in the wrong direction will eventually lead to its demise.  I love when a client says my lawn doesn’t look like my neighbors. Well lets see. Your neighbors sprinkler heads are in the right direction. They are watering it in the early morning for 10 minutes at a time before the scalding sun appears. They have had us thatch and spray specific chemicals at the appropriate time of year. Add fertilizer and soil and not that powdered lime.
